How We Get Involved

                                AT WM

The partners and staff at Watson Mowry, PC know that as a successful area business, we hold a responsibility to give back to the community that has made us so successful. That is why we have partnered with several non-profit charitable organizations to help support their causes, both from a fundraising and service angle. See some of the organizations we support below:

FILL THE TRUCKSTER!

Each year leading up to Christmas, we hold a drive to help stuff a 70's area station wagon chock full of toys and winter clothing for disadvantaged families to help bring some happiness to their holidays in partnership with Safe & Sound and benefitting three charities: Thrive Virginia, One Warm Coat, and LaSertoma. Since 2017 we helped stuff the Truckster full of over 3,000 toys for kids all over Hampton Roads.

THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE

When it comes to helping out with Williamsburg House of Mercy's annual Thanksgiving Food drive, we go all out. A time that brings the whole family together in thanks can also be stressful for those who struggle to put bread on the table week after week. On a holiday centered on giving thanks, we feel there is no way we can better say thanks for the blessings we have received as a firm than to help those less fortunate in their time of need to have a substantial meal to put on the table for their families.

WALK TO END ALZHEIMER'S

Alzheimer's is a disease that with rare exception touches everyone. At the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, they are fighting for a different future. For families facing the disease today. For more time. For treatments. Researchers closer than ever to stopping Alzheimer's. We join the Alzheimer's Association annually in the world's largest fundraiser to support those researchers fight the disease.

Additionally, we have supported the following community organizations as donors or sponsors:

Community Development Resource (CDR), WISC, Walsingham Arts, the Virginia Peninsula Swim Union (VPSU), Christopher Wren, American Heart Association, St. Bede’s Catholic Church, Virginia Shakespeare Festival, Grove Christian Outreach Center, Williamsburg Youth League Baseball, Hands Together Historic Triangle, Christmas Mother, Matthew's Haven, Stonehouse Splash Swim Team, 757Swim Swim Club, and the YMCA.
