Meet Our Partners
Two amazing women who met working for the same CPA/Accounting Firm and one day decided, "let’s go do this together, and let’s do it our way!" And they did just that – Watson Mowry, PC was formed in 2010 with very important goals in mind: building honest relationships, delivering a quality product and educating their clients and helping them understand their taxes, year after year. They want every client to feel like they are the most important client they have, and they do just that. Watson Mowry’s client base has been built mainly by referrals, and for that, we are forever grateful.
Kimberly is a proud Williamsburg native. She is a graduate of Lafayette High School and Christopher Newport University where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting. Upon graduation, Kimberly went to work for a public accounting firm where she worked for eight years – beginning as a staff accountant and leaving as a managing CPA. While working for the firm she sat for and passed her CPA exam. In 2006, Kimberly decided that she would venture out and create her own practice in order to spend more time with her children. As business grew the next step was moving from her home office to office space. In 2010, she partnered with Jodi Warren-Mowry to create Watson Mowry, PC. Kimberly has a love for corporate and individual tax law and providing personalized service to all clients.
Kimberly and husband, Patrick, have three beautiful daughters, Shelby, Maggie, and Lily. Her favorite thing to do when she’s not working is to head to the beach with her family. The Watson girls enjoy swimming, rowing and riding as their sports and Kimberly thoroughly enjoys being involved with their neighborhood and VPSU swim team/leagues. Kimberly is a member of the Virginia Society of CPA's, Virginia Peninsula Estate Planning Council and the Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce.
Born and raised in Vermont, Jodi is a graduate of Hartford High School. Upon graduation, her love of travel and her desire for warm weather led her out west to California. She received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from California State University. She spent 10 years working for a Business Management firm in Santa Monica financially managing high profile entertainment clients. In 2000, Jodi moved to Williamsburg and began working for a local public accounting firm, where she met Kimberly Watson. In 2001 Jodi ventured out to start her own practice, one of her long
time goals. After 9 years, she felt the opportunity to partner with Kimberly would be a tremendous asset to her practice.
Jodi and her husband, Art, have two active boys, Luke and Austin and 3 Labradors. She enjoys spending time with her family, usually something that involves sports and vacationing at the beach in Cape Cod. Jodi is a member of the Accountant’s Society of Virginia, Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce, and former Team of the Year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
